You need to gather information, ideas and experience from those who have already done and have been, or better yet: failed. Talk, listen, read. Use all possible sources to know in advance. Make use of guides, manuals, maps, biographies, good advice, the internet and the advice of your parents. Prepare.<\/p>\r\n

  1. Make a list. A 'counter list'. Write down the things you want to do. Make a column next to it with why you haven't done it yet. Whatever your excuse is. And also put what the reason is. Excuse can be: 'No time' or 'Too busy'. The reason: \"Scares me\" or \"I'm insecure about\". Now rework the list to a 'front list'. That is, the excuse column is removed and the reasons are reversed. 'Afraid' becomes 'Dare, I'm going to do it'.

  2. Make a fact list. Those are the things that you would like to change, but which cannot be influenced by circumstances or other unchangeable things at the moment. List them. Accept them. Work around them.

  3. Make a list of responsibilities. A summary of the things you can and want to take full and inalienable responsibility for, right now.
