AUTHOR
Jo De Poorter is the author of ten books, this one about his field of communication, interest in interior design and his side profession royal affairs. Some bestsellers include the series on charisma "The little coach for big things" and the biographies on Elisabeth II and Mathilde of Belgium.
De Morgen says: "De Poorter writes compelling life stories where you get the feeling of looking over the main character's shoulder". Paul Count Buysse finds, "He takes you into the usually inaccessible world of royalty, diplomacy and politics and does so with great sense of detail and historical accuracy."
Court supplier Edouard Vermeulen testifies: "He is my favourite royal author." Opinion magazine Knack specifies, "De Poorter writes as he speaks: rambling, direct, playful and to the point." Even in royal circles, his work is particularly appreciated. Queen Paola, for example, revealed to be particularly touched by the biography De Poorter wrote about her granddaughter Crown Princess Elisabeth.
