MEDIATRAINING

What does it deliver? It teaches you how to formulate and convey your message, in the constraint of a few minutes or seconds, under the barrage of questions, against resistance or in the heat of a crisis. It provides insight into the mechanisms of news, the public domain and image formation. It ensures you can overcome obstacles such as: criticism, opposition and attacks. It teaches you how the media work and how to make them work for you. In front of a camera, a microphone, in the newspaper or digitally.
How does it work? They are one-to-one, interactive, hands-on sessions tailored to your personal needs and predetermined outcome.
Where is it happening? At our rural coaching location in Maldegem, our urban location in Antwerp or at a location of your choice.
How long does it take? You should set aside a half-day session for each individual session. The duration of a coaching programme depends on: your current level, your learning speed and your objective.
TIPS

How can you find the words?
Say it like it is. Communicate your feelings and thoughts with respect and determination in simple and direct way. Be clear, concise and brave. Consider the reasonable boundaries of the others. Think about what you want to achieve. If is hurtful, don’t say it. If it unnecessary, don’t say it.

How can you know how to do it?
Try to imagine the result. As detailed, realistic and visual as possible. And then look back imaginary to the road you have travelled there. The resources you needed, the hurdles you overcame, the help you called in. Use them. It is not at all a problem that you do not immediately know how to do something, in detail, from the start. That is not uncommon. Seek help and advice.
