How can you put things into perspective?

Go to a rest and care home. Ask if you can sit with someone who is dying, and has no one else. Go to a graveyard. Place flowers at the grave of someone you don't know. Consider the tombstone. Remember that person has been a baby, an adolescent and someone worried about paying the bills at the end of the month.
