Make a list. Collect and record all your recent successes. Teach yourself to recognize and jot them down. Keep track of them and look at them at bedtime or whenever you feel like it. Make a victory diary. Keep a journal in which you only list victories, accomplishments and wins. Go back in time and overlook your life: your childhood, your teenage years, your study time. Try remembering things you were proud of from every era: achieving you swimming diploma, your starring role on the school stage, your first love. You will find that you have countless times faced obstacles that seemed impossible, but that you nevertheless overcame them. Make a victory altar. Free up a place in your home you display the trophies of your life. The photos of your graduation, the trek through Patagonia, your scuba certification. It's also nice to write, frame and add accolades or thanks. Have a personal thank you moment. Spare a moment, every day, preferably late at night before you go to sleep, 15 minutes, to look back and celebrate. Be thankful: for your health, your life, your loves and for the day that has passed and the day to come.
