How do you create opportunities?

An old African proverb says: God gives opportunities, but those who sleep do not wake up will not wake up to them. Opportunities can be provoked, developed and managed. The four key techniques to smart opportunities are: timing, dedication, twinkling and testing. 

Timing. Develop your speed and responsiveness. The market shifts, fashion changes, products disappear. It right idea requires the right circumstances and the right moment. Dedication. Practice alertness and patience. Opportunities come on their own pace and speed. Notice and follow up is the message. Twinkle. Use initiative and resourcefulness. Search for the twinkle of an idea or a thought. Find something very obvious or far-fetched. Combine two existing ideas. Testing. Be inquisitive and investigative. Explore the area where your idea resides. Dig into history. Check out the competition. Test your idea against other ideas and people. Opportunities are the kindling wood of life, the start button of your dreams, the stepping stones on which you stand out from the crowd. Make them happen.
