What do you say when you don't remember something?

You are standing in front of someone and you don't know who they are or what they are called. How do you get out of that? Keep the talk general and try to infer from the conversation what environment or situation you know the person from. Or, be honest and say, "You'll have to help me because I've lost your name." If you have a slight suspicion, you can also say: 'Where have we last seen each other? ' Or use the classic: what's your name again? And if the person says their full name, don't respond with, 'No, of course I know your first name, but I forgot your last name. 'Prevent the problem in other people. In a conversation, state your full name and/or the situation from which the other person might know you as soon as possible.
